When you’re younger, your chances to celebrate are a lot more consistent: winning a soccer tournament, getting your drivers license, turning 18, getting into college, graduating, etc. But as we get older, our chances to celebrate our achievements become fewer and far between. Milestones don’t come around like they used to and sometimes it seems like the only times we’re allowed to celebrate ourselves and our accomplishments are during promotions (which don’t come around nearly enough) and birthdays. And while I strongly believe that it’s the little things in everyday life that make the biggest difference in my happiness, I also believe that sometimes you need these big, positive moments to remind you that what you’ve been working for was actually worth it and that you are in fact moving forward. This is one of those moments for me.
It’s been 768 days, 540 posts, and 500 followers since I wrote my first post and the time has absolutely flown by. I never thought I would have the courage to start my own blog, let alone keep it up for over two years now and I only get more and more excited about the content I can come out with. With each follow and like Creme de Boston receives I become more confident and excited to keep doing what I’m doing. I 100% would not be here, writing this post right now if it weren’t for the warm welcome I’ve gotten from my small, but incredibly impacting community we’ve created. And although 500 people is not the largest audience in the world, but it’s an audience that I’m happy to write for everyday.
So here’s to the next 500, 1000, 10,000 (ok let’s not get ahead of ourselves) followers. Thank you so much for your support over the last two years, months, and even days (hello new folks!) and I look forward to sharing more with you 🙂
