Vacation Destinations

After travelling to Utah this past Spring I have caught the travel bug. All I’ve wanted to do is pack my bag and get on a plane, train or bus and scoot off to a new destination. And while my last trip was a ski trip, the next trip my friends and I have been talking about would be a beach trip.  We haven’t decided on a location yet but we’ve agreed that it shouldn’t be too touristy, difficult to get to, and most importantly, not too expensive. Here are some of the locations we’ve brainstormed. I would LOVE and advice or suggestions and if you’ve had experiences in any of these places, I would love to hear your feedback!

  • Belize
  • Turks and Caicos
  • Bahamas
  • Florida Keys
  • Puerto Rico

Okay, not listed at all, but have you considered the Dominican Republic at all?
They have the most hotel rooms in the whole Caribbean to offer and therefore you will get get great value for the money.

I would recommend Punta Cana in the south, so the water will be the Caribbean sea and will be warm.
If you go to the north you will swim in the Atlantic ocean, ergo cold water. 😬
I have traveled throughout the entire Caribbean and I can really say, Punta Cana is everything you want the Caribbean to be.
Closely followed by Cozumel in Mexico.
