Before last year I never really made, let alone stuck with any new years resolutions. But after publishing what I thought would be a few good ones for 2016, I was actually able to stick to a couple of them! So here’s hoping that I’ll be able to do the same if not better in 2017!
- Be able to do a full split – I’ve been going to Pure Barre for over three years now and my flexibility has increased tremendously, but I would really love to be able to do a full split. This means stretching after running will be a must.
- Learn how to meditate – I’ve heard only good things about meditation and I am definitely someone who gets too into my own head at points so I think this would really help me.
- Get a promotion – I feel like I shouldn’t really need to explain myself for this one but seeing as I did not acquire one last year, this is still on my list.
- Listen to my body more – I really need to start getting regular massages, or acupuncture or see a chiropractor because my headaches and muscle aches are only getting worse with time. Pure Barre definitely helps strengthen my muscles but not necessarily loosen them up. I also need to stop eating when I’m full..
