Favorite Spots in Boston

I have been a Bostonian all my life, but it wasn’t until moving out of the suburbs and into the city 3 years ago that I really felt comfortable here. Running around the city with fellow Bostonians has definitely helped me explore and connect the dots between different areas of the city and find some of my favorite spots. So for those of you who are planning a visit, a move, or who live here and are simply looking for some new places to check out, look no further. Here are some of my favorite spots in Boston:

Run/walk route: Charles River Esplanade. This one’s pretty obvious, but this route is gorgeous for grand views of the city and fall foliage in all its glory.

Brunch: Friendly Toast/ Tatte Bakery and Cafe. This one is a toss up because if I’m starving and want to pig out at a restaurant with a binder of options I’ll go to Friendly Toast. If I’m looking for a slightly classier meal to impress my out of town friends, I’ll bring them to Tatte.

Shopping: No Rest for Bridget. This store is a secret gem that you may very easily walk by if you aren’t looking for it. They have LOADS of on trend pieces that are good quality and won’t break the budget.

Coffee: The Wired Puppy. Not only does this cafe serve a mean toffee latte, they are also dog-friendly. Win-win.

Pampering Spot:Skin Spa New York (also in NYC!). If you’re thinking of getting a wax, laser treatment, massage, or facial this place is amazing. They always have amazing deals available along with free consultations. If you want to spoil yourself a little bit without paying an arm and a leg, I would definitely check them out.
