My Skin Pampering Options

pampering

Daily make-up removal, cleansing and the weekly exfoliation are things I do for my skin on the regular. But sometimes when I think my skin is looking a little lack-luster or feeling on the parched side (dry skin problems) I’ll treat it with a few different options that help clear my skin and bring it back to life. Here are some of the skin pampering regiments that I use at my disposal from time to time:

Sheet Masks – Which one I use depends on how my skin is feeling and looking at the time but more often than not I’m using one of the Sephora brand masks, specifically ones for moisturizing. I may look like an alien for 10-15 minutes and be left with sticker feeling post-removal than I’m used to, but the next day my skin feels like a baby’s bottom: the ultimate goal in facial texture.

Biore Nose Strips – I only do these every few months or so and their effectiveness varies for me. While I usually get black heads right on the top of my nose, I find that after using these peels, a lot of the gunk (pardon my language) comes off of the sides rather than the top which can be a little frustrating, but still satisfying. Suggestions for other nose strip brands are welcome!

Body Shop Seaweed Oil-Balancing Clay Mask – I believe this used to be called their Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask but I use this mask for all over rejuvenation. If I want a low maintenance mask that doesn’t immobilize me for a small length of time like the sheet masks do, this is my go-to. I use this mask to get an all-over clean and my face definitely feels cleaner immediately after washing this off.

I’d love to know what you guys use to pamper yourself every once in a while!

Biore nose strips are definitely hit or miss. I find that pulling them off super slowly helps to get a lot out on the sides. Great post!
