Sunglasses for Round Faces

I am a round faced person. And while I didn’t always love this about myself, I have come to accept and embrace it over the years. Part of this journey to self-love for my round face has in part been due to the fact that I have learned what works and what doesn’t for people with my face shape. Sunglasses, for example, are one of those things that can either complement the shape of your face or possibly put it in worse light than it could be (literally). Here are some styles that I think work wonders for us round faced ladies and some that I personally can’t pull off. Let me know if you agree with my choices!

Aviators – Everyone looks good in aviators. That’s just a fact.

aviator.PNGRetro Square – This classic style is big enough to not look small on larger faces and also adds sharper angles to the  face that  would otherwise not be there.

Oversized Square– Wearing oversized glasses will naturally make the face look smaller in comparison if that’s what  you’re going for.

Round – These glasses tend to sit closer to the center of the face which can make the sides of your face look wider than they really are.
