An Open Mind with Closed Toed Shoes

Fun fact about Laura: I hate going barefoot. I have never been one of those people who walks into their home and whips off their shoes and I never will be. This is because the feeling of dirty feet and knowing that I have hair/dust/other gross things caught on the bottom of my feet equally annoys and disgusts me. I don’t even like wearing flip flops if I can help it because I’ll still get the residual dirt and dust on my feet and inevitably have to wash them at the end of the day. This is my biggest reason for loving closed toed shoes. This season I’m looking to expand my collection as I currently only own three pairs: my running shoes (which I only use to run in), my beige Keds (which pick up dust like no other), and my trustee slip-on sneakers (which I wear everyday and never take off). So in order to keep up the appearance that I have more than one pair of shoes that I actually wear, I need to buy more shoes that I will actually wear. Here are some options:
